Born and raised in Peckham, South London, his sound is a dynamic fusion of post-punk, wave, dub, jazz, and trip-hop—drawing inspiration from an eclectic mix of artists, including Joy Division, SAULT, Miles Davis, Talking Heads, Cocteau Twins, Dean Blunt, Fela Kuti, and Frank Ocean.
